Biography
He began his career at the age of 16 as a primary school teacher. In 1942-1945 he served in the army. In 1944 he joined the CPSU (b) . After demobilization in 1945-1948 he was the director of an elementary school, the inspector of the district department of public education.
Since 1948 - on responsible economic and party work.
In 1948-1950 - Deputy Chairman, then Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Narpay District Council ( Samarkand Region ).
In 1950-1952 - student of the Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Uzbekistan. After graduating from the party school, he was left there to teach, was elected secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan of the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan.
In 1953 he graduated from Tashkent State University as an external student , after which he was appointed the responsible organizer of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan, then 1st Secretary of Narpaysky, and later 1st Secretary of the Katta-Kurgan District Committees of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan in Samarkand Region.
From February 1963 to February 1968, he was the first secretary of the Khorezm Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan.
In February 1968, he was transferred to the post of 1st Secretary of the Andijan Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan, where he worked until December 1974.
From November 27, 1974 to February 1982, he was the 1st Secretary of the Samarkand Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan.
Then, until 1986, he worked as deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR.
From 1976 to 1986 - candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the CPSU.
Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 7, 8, 9, 10 convocations. He was elected as a deputy of the XXV (1976) and XXVI (1981) congresses of the CPSU.
Convicted of " cotton case ".
