Kolpakovsky is a former urban-type settlement in the Sobolevsky district of the Kamchatka Territory .

Located on the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk [2] .
Known since the 19th century as the village of Kolpakovskoye. With the development of the fishing industry in the first half of the 20th century, it grew and in 1948 received the status of the town and the name Kolpakovsky. In the village there was a fish factory of Krutogorovsky fish factory. In Kolpakovsky there were: an 8-year school with 45 places, a nursery with 25 places, a feldsher-midwife station, 2 shops, a bakery, a bathhouse, a post office, a club [3] .
On December 11, 1964, the village of Kolpakovsky was abolished [4] .
