Biography
He was born on April 19, 1908 in Leppävirt, in the Grand Duchy of Finland.
In 1920 he graduated from high school in Yaakkima . [one]
He graduated from the ballet school of the Finnish National Ballet in Helsinki and acted as a ballet soloist in the productions of Swan Lake and Blue Pearl.
He toured in the USSR and the USA. In his memoirs, he left sketches from meetings with Maurice Chevalier , Josephine Baker and Joana Crawford .
In 1966 he was awarded the highest state award of Finland for artists - the medal " Pro Finlandia ".
He died in 1985.
