Final
The final of the first draw took place on January 6, 1996 at the Cardiff Arms Park stadium. The hosts of the arena and the rugby players of Toulouse met in the decisive match. The guests won with a score of 21-18 after extra time. Toulouse managed to take the initiative, scoring two attempts in the first ten minutes, but the blow of Adrian Davis helped maintain the intrigue. With the score 15-12, when the main time was already over, Davis scored a penalty, thereby ensuring an overtime. Christophe Dilo also returned the lead to the French team with a penalty. Then Davis again brought points to his team. Finally, Dilo took advantage of another penalty, and the match ended in a victory for Toulouse.
