Deoxis ( デ オ キ シ ス Deokisisu , Deoxys ) is a Pokemon, a creature from the Nintendo and Game Freak series of games, manga and anime " Pokemon ". Deoxis was created by Ken Sugimori together with the Game Freak development team and first appeared in the games Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire , and then in various merchandise, spin-offs , animation and print adaptations of the franchise.

Deoxis is a mythical Pokemon that appeared after a laser beam hit an alien virus [1] . There are four different forms of Pokemon: attacking, defensive, speedy and regular. They differ from each other in appearance and characteristics.
Deoxis plays an important role in the 2004 animated feature film Pokémon: The Fate of Deoxis . The Pokemon received good reviews from critics, and its image was used by NASA to educate children.
Reaction and reviews
In general, Deoxis was received critically by critics. In an article about the game Super Smash Bros. GameSpy 's Brawl spokesman called it “one of the coolest Pokémon” [2] . Ket Bailey, editor of 1UP.com , wrote of Deoxys as a “good consolation prize” after the introduction of the Pokemon Darcry , claiming that the Pokemon looks like a My Pokémon Ranch [3] . An IGN spokesman called him "one of the most unique characters in the fascinating universe of Pokemon" [4] . Raymond Padilla, a journalist for GamesRadar , wrote that Deoxis and Reyquois looked very intimidating in the animated film Pokémon: The Fate of Deoxis [5] . In the list of 100 best Pokemon, compiled by voting users of IGN, Deoxis took 85th place [6] .
In 2005, NASA, along with the team responsible for creating the Pokémon TCG card game, used the Deoxys image to tell children about space and the ozone layer . NASA also created special browser games on its website, and the Nintendo US branch distributed promotional bracelets and postcards [7] .
