Chuko Tulberg ( Swede. Tycho Fredrik Hugo Tullberg , 1842–1920) is a Swedish zoologist . The descendant of Carl Linnaeus , popularizer of his scientific heritage, the first president of the Swedish Linnaean society .

Biography
Born in 1842 in Uppsala . From 1863 to 1869 he studied natural sciences at Uppsala University , in which he received his Ph.D. In 1871 he began to give lectures on zoology, from 1882 - professor of zoology at Uppsala University. Repeatedly made trips with a scientific purpose to Germany, Denmark, Austria and Holland. Tulberg was first engaged exclusively in the study of the springtails ( Poduridae ) of the Scandinavian fauna, then morphological investigations, and in recent years the systematics of rodents .
In honor of the scientist, the family and the genus Kollembol are named, respectively Tullbergiidae and Tullbergia .
