Biography
He studied almost exclusively the anatomy and systematics of echinoderms, which was considered one of the best experts. They discovered a new body of sea urchins ("cribriform organ"), named after its body Slaiden. The modern classification of echinoderms belongs to Slaiden, whose most important work is the processing of Echinodermata in the scientific results of the famous Challenger expedition .
