The final journey

Recorded in Sinustal Studios ( Essen ). The recording of the drums was made at Sonarklang Studios.

“Into the Unfathomed Tower” is a cover version of the instrumental composition of the band Candlemass from its 1989 album “ Tales Of Creation ” (this is one of the rare high-speed tracks in the collective's mostly doom-metal heritage). The solo instrument, in contrast to the original, is the violin .

The track list includes a new version of the song “Feld Der Ehre” from the second album “ Oath Of A Warrior ” (2005).

The last four compositions of the album are united by a common concept called The Naglfar Saga and narrate about the unworthy Valhalla warrior, who after his death falls into Helheim . Despite pleas and remorse, the goddess Hel sends him on board Naglfar . A warrior, becoming a member of the team of the living dead, swims on it for eternity.

The special edition includes a bonus DVD. It includes: a video for the song “Windloni” (director - Rainer Zipp Fränzen) and a film about its creation, as well as backstage footage of concerts in Bern , Moscow and at the Summer Breeze festival.
