Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini-Zuma; January 27, 1949 - South African politician and former apartheid fighter. She held the posts of Minister of Health of South Africa [1] from 1994 to 1999, on the board of Nelson Mandela , then as Minister of Foreign Affairs from June 17, 1999 to May 10, 2009 in the presidency of Thabo Mbeki and Kgalem Motlanthe . She was nominated on May 10, 2009 for the post of Minister of the Interior in the office of President Jacob Zuma , her ex [2] husband.

On July 15, 2012, Dlamini Zuma was elected Chairperson of the African Union Commission , becoming the first woman to lead this organization (including her predecessor, Organization of African Unity ) [3] .
