It is part of the Markovsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - the Markovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 30 km, to the center of the municipality of Vasilyevsky - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Redkino , Chernetskoye , Poroshino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 8 people [2] .
