It is part of the Markovsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - the Markovsky village council.
Located on the right bank of the Lezha River, at the confluence of the Comel into Lezha .
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 37 km, to the center of the municipality of Vasilievsky - 15 km. The nearest settlement is Nizma .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 22 people (8 men, 14 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
