It is part of the Sosnovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Sosnovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 28 km, to the center of the municipality of Sosnovka - 8.5 km. The nearest settlements are Vakhrushevo , Prokhorovo , Babtsino , Pochinok-2 .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 7 people [2] .
