It is part of the Sosnovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Sosnovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 31 km, to the center of the municipality of Sosnovka - 11.5 km. The nearest settlements are Gorka , Vatalino , Voskresenskoye , Levino .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
