It is part of the Podlesny rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Podlesny village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 24 km, to the center of the municipality of Ogarkovo - 11 km. The nearest settlements are Skryabino , Chekmenevo , Malgino , Pishchalino .
