It is a part of the Podlesny rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - into the Podlesny rural council.
The distance by road to the district center of Vologda is 29 km, to the center of the municipal entity Ogarkovo - 13 km. The nearest settlements are Elgino , Chekmenevo , Melnikovo , Pishchalino , Vinnikovo , Duravino .
