It is part of the Staroselsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Pudega rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Pudega village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 34 km, to the center of the municipality of Striznevo in a straight line - 10 km. The nearest settlements - Kondyriha , Opuchkovo , Zhavoronkovo , New .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [3] .
