It is part of the Staroselsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Kipelovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Kipelovsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 75 km, to the center of the municipality of Striznevo in a straight line - 21 km. The nearest settlements are Yesyukovo , Zakharyino , Pogost Onochnost .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 48 people (26 men, 22 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [3] .
