Included in the Staroselsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009, it was part of the Kipelovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative and territorial division - into the Kipelovsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Vologda along the road is 76 km, to the center of the municipal entity Striznevo in a straight line - 21 km. The nearest settlements are Esyukovo , Zakharyino , Popadino .
Until December 28, 2001 Post Onost had the status of a village [3] .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 13 [4] .
