It is part of the Staroselsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Staroselsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 54 km, to the center of the municipality of Striznevo - 13 km. The nearest settlements are Zhukovo , Shirogorye , Shelomovo , Klyushnikovo , Knyazevo , Abramovo , Sareyka , Silino .
