It is part of the Staroselsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Staroselsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 49 km, to the center of the municipality of Striznevo - 8 km.
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
