It is part of the Staroselsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Staroselsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 48 km, to the center of the municipality of Striznevo - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Lifino , Kharitonovo , Yaskino , Pakhtalovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 10 people [2] .
