It is part of the May rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Goncharovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Goncharovsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 40 km, to the center of the Maysky municipal formation in a straight line - 21 km. The nearest settlements are Kuligi , Aleksandrovo , Yakunino , Tokarevo , Polyany , Kruglitsa , Slobodischa .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [3] .
