It is part of the May rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the October rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the October Village Council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 18 km, to the center of the Maysky municipal formation in a straight line - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Maurino , Popovka , Pribytkovo , Dairy , Myagrino , Mitenskoe , Petrakovo , Skorodumka .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 379 people (180 men, 199 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [3] .
