It is part of the May rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the October rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the October Village Council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 27 km, to the center of the Maysky municipal formation in a straight line - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Beloye , Akulovo , Pribytkovo , Dulepovo , Myagrino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 94 people (48 men, 46 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [3] .
