It is part of the Novlensky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Votchinsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Votchinsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 75.5 km, to the center of the municipality of Novlensky in a straight line - 12 km. The nearest settlements are Metropolitan , Kostromino , Khrebtovo , Konstantinovo , Creamery , Sevastyanovo , Votcha , Osinovka , Shadrino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 24 people (10 men, 14 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (96%) [3] .
