It is part of the Novlensky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Votchinsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Votchinsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 82 km, to the center of the municipality of Novlensky in a straight line - 10 km. The nearest settlements are Khomyakovo , Afanasovo , Natsepino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 11 people [3] .
