It is part of the Kubensky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Veprevsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Veprevsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Vologda by road is 62 km, to the center of the municipality of Kubensky in a straight line - 19 km. The nearest settlements are Filkino , Khamennikovo , Bogoslovo , Molokovo , Vasilevo , Doronkino , Virlovo , Elyakovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [3] .
