It is part of the Kubensky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Kubensky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Vologda is 36 km, to the center of the municipality of Kubensky - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Kryukovo , Kuleshevo , Manino , Khvastovo , Matveevskoe , Derevkovo , Obrosovo , Yevlashevo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 49 people (26 men, 23 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
