It is part of the Kubensky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009, it was included in the Vysokovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - into the Vysokovsky rural council.
The distance to the district center of Vologda along the highway is 73 km, to the center of the municipal entity Kubensky in a straight line - 30 km. The closest locations are Dulovo , Demino , Dolmatovo , Lavrentievo , Domanovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 21 people (13 men, 8 women). The entire population is Russian [3] .
