History
The village was founded in 1833 by the Penza landowner Ivan Kashensky [2] .
Geography
The village is located in the Volga river delta , on the Enotaevka river, which is separated from the Volga channel Volozhka just south of the village of Fedorovka .
The street network consists of three geographical objects : st. Gorky, st. Cosmonauts, st. Embankment
From the north, the village adjoins the village of Ivanovka , also founded by the landowner Ivan Kashensky, but in 1786 [2]
