Biography
The early years
Robinson was born March 22, 1995 in Seattle , Washington [2] [3] . He is the oldest of five children, with the exception of two stepbrothers and sisters from his father’s previous marriage [4] . His mother's name is Denise Ponder [5] . Nick graduated from Campbell Hall School in 2013 [6] .
Career
Nick made his debut at the age of 11 in a staging of Charles Dickens ' novel " Christmas Carol in Prose ." In 2009, he received the role of Ryder Scanlon in the television series " Melissa and Joey " channel ABC Family , where he starred before the end of the series in 2015.
In 2011, taking a break from the television series Melissa and Joey , Nick starred in the original Disney movie Sworn Friends , along with Bella Thorne and Zendaya . The film premiered on January 13, 2012 [7] . In 2012, he was selected for the main role of Joe Toya in the film " Kings of the Summer " [8] . Filming began in July 2012 in Cleveland , Ohio and ended in August 2012. [9] [10] In the same year, he starred in an episode of the television series Underground Empire as the young thief Rowland Smith.
In 2013, he was selected for the role of Zach Mitchell in the film " Jurassic World ", which was released in 2015 [11] . In 2015, he received the main role in the film “Being Charlie”, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2015 [12] . In 2016, he played the role of Ben Parish (Zombie) in the film adaptation of Rick Yancy 's novel “The 5th Wave ”.
In March 2016, it was announced that Robinson would star in William Macy 's comedy drama Crystal. [13] In July 2016, it became known that Nick got a role in the film " This whole world " [14] .
