Content
Geographical position
The village is located on the banks of the Azevka River, a left tributary of the Izh River. The remaining settlements of Azevsky rural settlement are located within a radius of 6 km and are connected by roads. Agryz is 58 km away. [2]
By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the village is included in the list of settlements located in remote or hard-to-reach areas [3] .
History
In 1787, by decree of the government and local authorities, the land plot was cut for a new settlement, which was named after the Azevka River, which flows through these lands. The first residents of the village appeared in 1789 - all volunteers were granted a state non-repayable loan in the amount of 40 rubles for the farm and within five years they were given privileges from paying taxes and other state duties. Until 1920, the town was part of the P'anoborsk volost in the Elabuga district of the Vyatka province . Since 1921, he joined the Elabuga Canton of the TASSR , and from 1928 - the Chelny Canton . From August 10, 1930, the village becomes part of the Krasnoborsky District , from February 1, 1963 - into the Elabuga District , and from March 4, 1964 - into the Agryz District. [five]
