Bathykurila zenkevitchi (lat.) Is a species of marine polychaete worms of the family Polynoidae from the order Phyllodocida . It was originally described by the Soviet zoologist P. V. Ushakov as a member of the genus Macellicephala , and later Marian Pettibone (Marian H. Pettibone) included it in the genus Bathykurila Pettibone, 1976 [2] [3] .

Deep Pacific Ocean view. Japanese hollow , Kurile-Kamchatka hollow . Bathykurila zenkevitchi is found at great depths - from 6670 to 8135 m [4] .
Description
Body length up to 21 mm with a width of up to 12 mm, including parapodia and bristles. Head tentacle unpaired and short. The body is non-pigmented, consists of 15 segments. Ventral antennae small; elitrofor 7 pairs [4] . Palpy smooth, elongated; parapodia elongated; neurochetes are transparent, flat and long. Numerous notoheta serrated along the entire length. Dorsal antennae thin, longer than body width [5] . On the prostomium there is one pair of antennas and eyes on ommatophores. Peristomal antennae with cirrhophors. The prostomium is divided into two parts by the medial groove. Parapodia are two-leaved. All setae (sets) are simple [2] [6] [5] .
