Club career

The first young Wizdom talent was seen by the Bradford City scouts; soon he wanted to buy large clubs. In January 2008, 14-year-old Andre moved to Liverpool . The amount of compensation paid by the Merseyside Club remained a secret. Liverpool Youth Coach Gary Ablett immediately included the young player in his application for the season. Wizdom constantly defended the colors of the youth team (under 18 years old). In 2009, Wizdom played an important role in the team reaching the final of the Youth Cup of England , where the Reds lost to Arsenal .

The new Liverpool coach Roy Hodgson spotted Wizdom on the youth team in the 2010/11 season and insisted that he be assigned the 47th number of the first team. Wanting to prove the correctness of the decision of the head coach, Wizdom had a great jubilee match for Jamie Carragher , and then was included in the application for the cup game against Northampton . At the end of the 2010/11 season, he was included in the club's application for a match against Aston Villa , but again remained on the bench. In July 2011, Wizdom extended his contract with the Reds. After signing a new contract, Andre said:

I am pleased to sign a new contract and hope that I will continue to progress here. I am still young and continue to study, and I hope that daily work with great players will bear fruit, because I learn from the best.

September 20, 2012 left in the first team against the Young Boys in the 1st round of the group stage of the UEFA Europa League and scored a goal [2] . On January 9, 2013, he signed a new long-term contract with the Reds on improved terms.

Season 2014/15 spent in West Bromwich on loan.

Career in the national team

In 2010, a young Englishman became the winner of the European Championship among youth teams , where he scored a goal in the final between England and Spain (the final score was 2: 1) [3] . In September of the same year, Wyzdom played for England until the age of 19 at the position and midfielder.
