Story
Many thousands of years ago, from the boundless chaos, the Earth and the mighty sky were born. The era of myths and legends began. The ancient gods were vindictive and cruel, they sent to the human race grave torment, cares and endless suffering. No one dared to challenge the unjust gods, and then he appeared, Hercules. His mother was the beautiful mortal woman Alkmena, and his father the great Zeus was a thunderer. Hercules possessed unprecedented power. A force that only the kindness of his heart and generosity could compare with. He wandered the earth, fighting with the minions of his evil stepmother Hera, the omnipotent Queen of Olympus. The insulted Hera decided to avenge her husband's betrayal and vowed to kill Heracles at all costs. And wherever the forces of evil appeared, wherever the innocent suffered, overcoming all obstacles in their path, Hercules always came to the rescue.
In search of easy money, two young people find themselves in a strange place where, in their opinion, the wealth of the gods of Olympus is hidden. However, with their thoughtless actions, they release a terrible monster to the earth, which requires Hercules to be brought to him ... Meanwhile, Hercules runs a farm and plows the land, caring for his house and family. He teaches his children to peacefully solve their problems and fight only when necessary to protect the innocent. However, in his established life there is still not enough of what took place before: lack of exploits, victories over monsters and giants, unpredictable adventures. From time to time, father Zeus visiting him reminds his son about this. And the hero himself constantly recalls past adventures, forgetting himself even at the family table. Dejanir’s loving wife sees her husband’s state and tries in every possible way to support him and distract him from unpleasant thoughts. Passing by on his own business affairs, Hercules is visited by an old friend and combat associate of Iolaus. They remember with pleasure their past times when they fought together back to back and defeated any enemy.
But it seems that fate decides to have mercy on the two heroes longing for feats, and a certain Danio from Alturia runs to Hercules, begging to help release his brother Endius, who fell into the clutches of an unprecedented monster. At first, the hero does not dare to leave the family, but Dejanira convinces her husband not to betray himself and not to refuse help to the suffering.
Thus, Hercules with Iolaus go to the place indicated by the messenger. However, in Alturia, none of the inhabitants even heard of any monster, laughing the travelers. Of course, they could not know that at this very time in the underground labyrinth cherishes its plan of revenge on Zeus an evil and treacherous creature with the appearance of a horned beast. After all, it was the Supreme God of Olympus who imprisoned him here, underground, hundreds of years ago in this monstrous guise for his atrocities. And now the beast is ready to take revenge, planning to destroy Heracles and thereby inflicting a mortal wound to his father.
And Hercules and Iolaus, meanwhile, decide to stop in the village to find out what is happening here. In the tavern, they have to hold the defense against a group of local thugs who considered themselves invincible, however, this was only so far. Therefore, humiliated by their defeat, badasses decide to attack sleeping heroes at night in order to take revenge on them. But in a strange way, they themselves are stabbed to death in the middle of the inn, and the terrified and bewildered residents blame Hercules for their death. To avoid an unnecessary brawl with the local population, Hercules and Iolaus try to hide, but an angry crowd drives friends into a dead end. The hero calls over to the mind of people over and over again, and at this moment a funnel forms in the ground, into which one of the attackers is drawn, then the same one is under Iolaus' feet. Hercules does not let go of his friend’s hand, but in the end he also disappears underground. Then Hercules asks the messenger Danio, who called him here in due time, to take him to the monster's den. On the way, Hercules meets Zeus and tells his son the story of this monster, who was once handsome as Adonis, but black in soul, for which the king of the gods disfigured him, showing on the outside everything that filled his soul inside. Zeus could not kill the beast in the past, and now he is asking his son to do what he himself could not once do.
And here Hercules penetrates the underground labyrinth. Two more villagers decided to go with him. But for them, the path ends quickly and tragically. And the hero, being caught up in the next funnel, enters a strange hall with strange stone growths. And then the owner appears, a man with the head of a bull. His plans include throwing at the feet of Zeus the head of Hercules and with his army to seize dominance on earth and on Olympus. Hercules plans to prevent the villain, so the battle between them begins. But at the moment when Hercules was already ready to deliver the last blow, the minotaur admits that he is his brother and son of Zeus. The hero's desire to fight with his own brother disappears, and the treacherous beast intends to carry out his plan, destroying Heracles and the father of Zeus with one blow. To make the enemy continue the battle, the minotaur pulls out of the stone niche of the insensitive Iolaus. His friend’s heart cannot stand such a spectacle, Hercules attacks and throws the beast away with a powerful blow. He falls back on a sharp sticking stone. Zeus appears and returns to his dying son his former appearance, freeing his lost soul. Hercules meanwhile brings to the senses of Iolaus and frees the rest of the captives of the dead monster. Everyone is happy to see the missing neighbors alive and well.
Hercules and a friend go home, deciding that for them there will be enough adventures for them, because at home the hero is waiting for a loving wife and children.
