Maria Sergeyevna Gromova ( August 10, 1929 - May 13, 2008 ) - master of machine milking at the Kommunarka state plant. Soviet party and statesman - member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU (1981-1986), member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1986-1989), deputy of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 9-11 convocation (1975-1989) from the Moscow Region [1] [2] , Hero of Socialist Labor ( 1975 ).

Biography
Born in 1929 in the Moscow region, worked in agriculture since childhood.
In 1972, instead of 35 cows, M. S. Gromov and her farm friends began to serve 60 animals. At the same time, the organization of labor changed and improved. The duty of milkmaids was only one operation - milking cows. Other people started feeding and cleaning animals, washing milk, cleaning rooms.
In 1974, the total milk yield amounted to 439 tons at M. S. Gromova, for which she was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor . A year later, when Gromova received 530 tons of milk from her group of cows, Maria Sergeyevna was named the laureate of the USSR State Prize .
Maria Sergeyevna Gromova continued to work on her farm.
In 1975, she was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR .
In 1981-1986 she was a member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU , and in 1986-1989 - a member of the Central Committee of the CPSU.
She was buried in Moscow at the Prokshinsky cemetery [3] .
