Biography

In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute (today - the Mining Institute of NUST “MISiS” ) with a degree in mining electrical engineer.

Since 1953 he worked in VNIPIpromtekhnologii , the last position is the head of the research department of mining and technological problems of underground mining of deposits.

In 1967 he defended his thesis, and in 1983 - his doctorate. He was a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute VNIPIpromtekhnologii . He published in co-authorship of more than 250 scientific papers. Created in collaboration with 37 inventions.

Member of the dissertation councils of the Institute VNIPIpromtekhnologii and RGGRU, member of the mining and technological section of the NTS Minatom, chairman of the State Aviation Administration of the Moscow State University and the Russian State Humanitarian University, member of the Russian Nuclear Society, member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the problems of using underground space and underground construction, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, member of the editorial board of journals “ Mining Journal ”,“ Mining Bulletin ”,“ Mining and Metallurgical Industry ”, member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, them. He devoted his scientific and production activities to the development of in-line production technologies for open development of uranium deposits, automated selective uranium mining by rotary excavators. He also dealt with the problems of resource-saving, environmentally friendly technologies for open-pit mining of shallow underground deposits, the creation and implementation of new technologies for underground (borehole and intramassive - block) and heap leaching of uranium and polyelement ores. He participated in the development of underground radiation-safe nuclear power complexes (PAES, FNPPs) with RW conditioning, storage facilities and burial grounds.

Awards and titles

Honored Inventor of the RSFSR [2] , Inventor of the USSR , laureate of the USSR State Prize, medals: “For outstanding contribution to the development of the Kuban”, “For valiant work.
