Biography
Since 1870 he studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture . In 1881 he graduated from the Imperial Academy of Arts with the title of class artist of architecture of the 1st degree.
Since 1885, he served as a supernumerary technician in the construction department of the Moscow Provincial Government. In 1887 he worked as an assistant to A. L. Ober on the construction of urban slaughterhouses ( Sibirsky passage , 2). In 1888 - 1890 he was a district architect. In 1890, he built a building for the latter at the Rukavishnikovsky shelter (30 Smolenskaya-Sennaya Square ). Together with M.T. Preobrazhensky and P.P. Shchegolev, he completed a competitive project of a house for the State Bank branch.
