Biography

Born on September 1, 1937 in the village of Plyuskovo, Kozelsky district . In 1955 he began serving in the Soviet Army . In 1958 he graduated from the Chkalovsk Military Aviation School of Navigators in Orenburg . In the same year he went into stock. Military rank - senior lieutenant .

In 1958-1960 , he was a worker at the Aviation Plant No. 23 at Fili , in 1960-1963 , he worked as a layout technician at the design bureau of the Aviation Plant No. 30 in Moscow .

From September 1963 to June 1988, he was in flight test work at the Flight Research Institute named after M.M. Gromov . He tested various navigation systems on the Tu-104 and Il-62 , automatic approach systems on the An-12 and Tu-154 . He took part in the tests of the Su-24 strength, advanced engines on the Tu-16LL and other works on the subject of the institute.

In October 1986, he participated in the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident .

C 1988 th to 1997 worked as aircraft technicians parachuting and rescue facilities in FRI .

He lived in the village of Udelnaya, Ramensky district, Moscow region .

He died on March 20, 1999 . He was buried in Zhukovsky , at the Bykovsky cemetery .
