Location and landscaping

The street of the Hungarian Communards runs from east to west between the streets of Klyuchevskoy and Tatishchev . The street starts from Pirogov street and ends at Tankistov street [1] [2] . It intersects with the streets of Melnikov , Plotnikov , Workers , Peat mills and Lotsmanovyh . Left to the street adjoins Lagoda street. Between the streets of Tokare and Vikulova, the Hungarian Communards are built up with blocks of multi-storey residential buildings. The numbering of street houses goes from Pirogov street.

The length of the street of the Hungarian Communards, together with the built-up areas is about 2.5 kilometers. The width of the carriageway is on average about 6 m (one lane in each direction of movement). There are no traffic lights or unregulated pedestrian crossings throughout the street.

History

The street appeared no earlier than 1788 (the exact time of formation is unknown). Before the revolution of 1917, the street was called 2nd Klyuchevskaya . There were nine Kliuchevskikh streets in total, all of them ending at a peat bog, near which, probably, there were keys used by local residents. In 1921, the street got its modern name [3] in honor of the Communards from Hungary [1] [4] .

Modern street buildings are low-rise (“private sector”), at the beginning of the street there is a multi-storey building, but it is assigned to neighboring streets. According to the General Plan of Yekaterinburg, the private sector on the street is subject to demolition and construction in its place of new quarters of the VIZ-Pravoberezhniy microdistrict.
