Datong ( Chinese р同 大同 , Pinyin : Dàtóng ) is the urban subordination of Daqing Urban District of Heilongjiang Province ( PRC ). One of the industrial areas of Daqing. It is named after the village of Datong (大同 镇).

Content
History
For the first time, the Datong district (as part of Zhaozhou County) was created in 1955, but already in 1956 it was liquidated, and the villages and townships that entered it returned to the subordination of the county.
In 1959, the Daqing District (大庆 区) of Zhaozhou County was established. In 1960, he was subordinated to the city of Anda, and in 1964 it was renamed the Datong District. In 1965, in connection with the liquidation of the special region of Anda and the restoration of the county of Anda, the Datong district was also liquidated, and the villages and townships included in it became subordinate to the county.
In July 1979, the Datong District was reinstated as part of the Anda City District, which was renamed the Daqing City District in December of that year.
