Biography
Samuel Genersih was born in Kežmarok on February 15, 1768 .
Genersih studied in Kežmarok and received a medical education in Vienna . He practiced medicine for six years in Kezmarok, and was subsequently appointed a doctor in Levoča . Generzich collaborated with Göran Wallenberg in his work on the systematics of plants and the geography of the High Tatras . Samuel Genersih was an honorary member of the Botanical Society of Regensburg.
Samuel Generzich died in the city of Levoča on September 2, 1844 .
