Biography

Born in 1893 in the city of Bila Tserkva . Jew. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1917 .

Head of the political department of the rifle brigade, head of the political department of the rifle division in the territory of the Ukrainian SSR, at the end of 1923 and until October 1924 - member of the PBC of the 5th Red Banner Army in the city of Chita . Then he is transferred to the post of member of the PBC of the Turkestan Front, where he serves until 1925 .

In 1927 - 1930 - deputy head of the PU RKKA , in 1930 - 1935 a member of the PBC and the head of the PU LVO , in 1935 - 1937 member of the Military Council under the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR , head of the Office of the military educational institutions of the Red Army .

He lived in Moscow at the address: Bolshoi Rzhevsky lane , house 11, apartment 17.

Repression

During the internal party discussion of 1923-1924. supported the left opposition.

Arrested on October 5, 1937 , at the court admitted all the testimonies given during the investigation. In the last word he asked "to give the opportunity with the hardest work to atone for his gravest crimes and return to the Soviet family." [1] , convicted on March 15, 1938 of the All-Union High Command of the USSR on charges of participation in a fascist military conspiracy and shot on the same day. Rehabilitated on January 7, 1956 by the decision of the All-Union Supreme Council of the Air Forces .
