Fiorello Giraud ( Italian. Fiorello fr. Giraud ; October 22, 1868 , Parma - March 28, 1928 , Parma ) - Italian opera singer ( tenor ). The son of opera singer Lodovico Giraud (1846–1882).

He studied in Parma with Enrico Barbachini , made his debut in Vercelli in 1891 in the title role of Richard Wagner’s opera Lohengrin, and later became one of the leading Italian performers of the Wagnerian repertoire Scala under the management of Arturo Toscanini ); a year later, in 1908 , Giraud participated in the Italian premiere of Pelleas and Melisande by Claude Debussy (as the performer of Pelleas' party). In 1892, he became the first performer of Cassio's part in Payatsi, Ruggero Leoncavallo (recommended to the composer by his student Barbachini). Later he performed throughout Italy, including the Teatro Comunale in Bologna ( 1894 ), the La Fenice Theater in Venice ( 1895 , 1900 - 1901 ), the Royal Theater in Turin ( 1899 ), the operas of Trieste ( 1906 ), Palermo ( 1907 ) ; toured in Barcelona ( 1896 ), Monte Carlo ( 1897 ), Santiago de Chile and Lisbon ( 1898 ), Madrid ( 1899 - 1901 ), Cairo ( 1901 ), Buenos Aires ( 1903 ). He performed with concerts until 1918 .
