Michael Frater ( born Michael October 6, 1982 , Manchester , Jamaica ) - Jamaican sprinter , Olympic champion - 2012 , 2-time world champion in the relay 4 × 100 m ( 2009 and 2011 ). A personal record per 100 m was set on May 30, 2011 in Lausanne (9.88 s).

Born October 6, 1982 in Manchester, Jamaica. His elder brother Lindel also involved in athletics and represented his country at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney . Michael graduated from Texas Christian University .
