History
The emergence of the settlement is associated with the creation in 1936 of the Novoselitsky state forest nursery [4] , located near the village of Merry Grove [5] [6] . In the 1960s, the Mayak fruit farm was formed on the basis of the nursery [4] .
In 1958-1972, the village of the fruit farm “Mayak” was part of the Aleksandrovsky district [7] [8] ; in 1972, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, it was renamed the village of Novy Mayak [9] .
In 1986, the Vesyolaya Roshcha farm was deregistered [10] and is currently Vesyolaya Roshcha Street in the village of Novy Mayak [11] . Apparently, Vinogradniy, located near the latter, also became part of the village - now in its place is Vinogradnaya Street [12] .
