Biography
Born in the city of Mantova . He was one of two children in the family; he will subsequently work with his brother Henry.
He graduated from the Royal Technical Institute in Milan , which will later receive the university satus. He worked as an architect and sculptor. The first architectural construction of the artist is the private villa of Zanoletti. Among the famous works of the master in Mantua is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the best example of the secession style in the city. In gratitude for the project and the creation of the magnificent structure, it is also called the Palazzo Andreani.
He was involved in the creation of the Lombardy pavilion at an exhibition in Rome on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of a unified state of Italy.
During the years of World War I, he moved to Milan, where he worked as an architect (houses on Zebrelloni street, Zanoletti house, Villa Racine). Among the most significant buildings of the Milan period is the Palazzo Phidia.
Later he worked as a director of the Office for the Protection and Restoration of Architectural Monuments in Mantua and Verona. Under his leadership, the Palazzo del Podesta ( 1939 - 1944 ), the Palazzo della Ragione ( 1940 - 1942 ), Torre Dellorologgio ("Clock Tower"), and the Convent of San Francisco ( 1943 - 1944 ) were restored in Mantua.
