Worthington Miner (also known as Tony Miner) is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. One of the pioneers of American television. Many of his decisions are still used in television programs and series. In 1952, he left the CBS channel on NBC because of disagreements about his contract, thereby ending one of the most famous shows of the first decades of American television - Studio One . However, on NBC, he could not turn around and bring his ideas to life, so he left this television network, disappointed in the path of development of television, which he promoted.

He was married to Francis Fuller . Their granddaughter is Rachel Miner . [1] Their son Peter Miner is an American producer.
