The urban district of Bogdanovich is a municipality in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia , belongs to the Southern Administrative District .

The administrative center is the city of Bogdanovich .
From the point of view of the administrative-territorial structure of the region , the urban district is located within the boundaries of the administrative-territorial unit of the Bogdanovichi district . [3]
Content
Physico-geographical characteristics
The territory of the district is 1498 square kilometers.
In the east, the district borders with the Kamyshlovsky district, in the south - with the Kamensky urban district of the Sverdlovsk region and the Kataysky district of the Kurgan region, in the west - with the Beloyarsky and Asbestovsky urban districts, in the north - with the urban district Sukhoi Log.
The main wealth is considered to be reserves of refractory clay and limestone.
The geographical position and climatic conditions of the region make it possible to attribute it to the territory of the low-lying Trans-Urals.
There are no large rivers or mountain peaks.
The largest rivers: Kunara and Bolshaya Kalinovka (both no longer than 60 kilometers) flow into Pyshma.
The most significant lake: Kurtuguz (1100 ha).
Rocky hills are located along the coast of Kunara to the north-east of the city [4] .
History
On August 15, 1924, the Bogdanovichi district was formed with the center in the village of Troitskoye as part of the Shadrinsky district of the Ural region . In 1930, the administrative center was moved to the village of Bogdanovich , the territory included the territory of the abolished Gryaznovsky district . July 10, 1931 Bogdanovichi district was abolished with the inclusion of its territory in the Sukholozhsky district .
November 27, 1944 Bogdanovichi district was re-formed. It includes the following territories:
- from the Kamyshlovsky district : Volkovsky, Volodinsky, Garashkinsky and Ilyinsky s / s, as well as a number of villages Kalinovsky s / s.
- from Sukholozhsky district: r.p. Bogdanovich, Bainovsky, Barabinsky, Bileysky, Gryaznovsky, Kamenoozersky, Kamensky, Kashinsky, Kulikovsky, Kunarsky, Lyapustinsky, Troitsky, Tygishsky, Chernokorovsky and Shchipachevsky s / s, as well as a number of villages of Melnychny s / s.
In 1947 r.p. Boglanovich was transformed into a city of regional subordination. Formed Bykovsky s / s.
In 1954, Beleysky, Bykovsky, Kashinsky, Kulikovsky, Lyapustinsky and Shchipachevsky s / s were abolished.
On February 1, 1963, Bogdanovich was transformed into a city of regional subordination, and the Bogdanovichsky district was abolished. At the same time, his village councils were transferred to the Kamyshlovsky rural area. January 13, 1965 Bogdanovichsky district was again restored. In the same year, the Suvorov s / s was transferred from the Kamensky district to Bogdanovichsky [5] .
On November 22, 1966, the farms of the auxiliary farm of the fattening farm, plot No. 2 of the artificial insemination station and Asbestovsky plot No. 3 of the Bazhenovsky state farm were renamed to Luch, Krasny Mayak and Vishnevyi, respectively [6] [7] .
In 1996, the city of Bogdanovich and the district were merged into one municipality, the Bogdanovich District.
Since January 1, 2006, the municipality "Bogdanovichsky District" has been given the status of an urban district and transformed into the City District Bogdanovich [8] .
As part of the administrative-territorial structure of the region , the administrative-territorial unit Bogdanovichsky district continues to exist. [3]

The structure of the urban district and the district includes 40 settlements. At the same time, in addition to the city, the urban district includes 13 rural territories, and the district until October 1, 2017 included 14 administrative-territorial units (1 city and 13 village councils). [3] [20]

Fauna
Animals
Muskrat is found in Kurtuguz Lake [27] .
Birds
In the marshes around Lake Kurtuguz and in other areas ducks [27] and hawks live.
Pisces
In the lake Kamenozersky is inhabited by yellow ("golden") crucian carp and rotan .
In the Bileysk fish hatchery, mirror carp is bred [4] .
Rattan lives in Lake Kurtuguz [28] [29] .
Economics
City enterprises are actively developing reserves of refractory clay and limestone.
The largest agricultural enterprise is the Sverdlov collective farm, which is on the list of 300 most profitable farms in Russia [4] .
