Kalinovsky - a village in the Kirov administrative district of Yekaterinburg . It borders on the Shartashsky residential area in the south, and the Novoberezovsky micro-district of the city of Berezovsky in the southeast. The territory of the village is 1870 hectares, including a residential area - 820 hectares. The northern part is boggy.

On the territory of the village are the lands of the Ordzhonikidzevsky state farm, military units, the warehouse area of Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Contact”, a high pressure gas pipeline, and a power line pass. The population for 2000 was 2,600 people. The length of the streets is 5.45 km. Historically, the settlement developed houses of a manor type; in the 1970s and 1980s, a block of several high-rise apartment buildings of standard series was built in the southern part of the village.
Until 1985, the village of Kalinovsky was part of the city of Berezovsky , after which, together with part of the current micro-district, Shartash was transferred to Sverdlovsk [1] [2] .
In July 1995, part of the housing stock of the village, which was on the balance sheet of the Mining and Rescue Equipment plant, was transferred to municipal ownership [3] .
